WELCOME TO YOUR CLASS BLOG!

Welcome to your new class blog!

I am Mrs. Eckhart, and I will be your teacher and guide throughout this upcoming school year.  I am excited to get to know each and every one of you.

It is important for me to get to know you, as well as you getting to know me.  I love most anything active and outdoors.  From hiking, scuba diving, basketball, volleyball, and most other sports, to my family, decorating, home improvements and learning new things.

I will be posting more information including a livelesson video about myself titled, "Getting to Know Mrs. Eckhart," on Wednesday, September 1st- 6th here on the blog.  Included within the video I will share with you a fun ice-breaker activity, in which you can participate, so we can all get to know each other.  I can't wait to read or view your responses!

As we get to know each other through the blog, we will also be going on some adventures together on many field-trips throughout the school year,  in our quest to learn more about one another's interests, hobbies, families and much more.  I am excited to learn more about each and every one of you!

Stay tuned as our summer winds down for more information, letters, and emails to come your way as you prepare for our upcoming school year together.  Also, be sure to browse the WAVA k12 website http://www.k12.com/wava for loads of information that may help answer your questions.  I encourage you to view the FAQs General  page as well. Please feel free to email or contact me from 8am-3:30pm Monday through Friday beginning September 1st.

To contact me, send me an email or call me.  I will be checking my phone messages and returning your calls as soon as possible.  You will need to make sure that you leave a message if you are unable to reach me directly, as I will most likely be communicating or helping another student at that time; if you do not leave a message, I will not know that you called. I will be trying hard to return emails and phone calls before the end of the day in which I receive them. (NOTE: If you would like to talk to me via phone, it is best to email me, writing your name, the question, a number to reach you, and a good time to call you back. Then, I will call you.)    Phone: (425) 829 5045  Email: marlaje@hotmail.com   Website: http://mrseckhartsclass.yolasite.com

Again, please be sure to contact me with any questions or concerns.  I am here to help!  I am looking forward to working with each one of you and meeting you all very soon!

Your teacher,
Mrs. Eckhart
